This page explains what cookies are, how the Clockraft website uses them, and what choices you have. We keep the language as straightforward as we can — because understanding what happens on a website you visit ought to be easy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits and remember certain information — such as whether you have already acknowledged the cookie notice.
Cookies do not run programs, carry viruses, or extract personal data. They are a standard part of how most websites function today.
2. Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookie. You can adjust your preferences for the optional categories using the controls in Section 5 below.
Essential Cookies
These are required for the website to work correctly. They include cookies that remember whether you have accepted this notice, maintain the integrity of forms, and support basic navigation. They cannot be disabled.
- cookieConsent — stores your cookie preference decision (localStorage, persistent)
- Session state — maintains page continuity during a visit (session, deleted on browser close)
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. This information is aggregated and does not identify individuals. We use this data to improve the website over time.
- Service: Google Analytics 4 (anonymised IP)
- Duration: up to 13 months
Preference Cookies
These remember choices you have made, such as your preferred language or region, so you do not have to set them again on each visit.
- Duration: up to 12 months
Marketing Cookies
These track your browsing across websites to allow us and our advertising partners to show you relevant content. We use this category sparingly; if you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you can switch it off below.
- Service: Google Ads, Meta Pixel (where active)
- Duration: up to 90 days
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some of the cookies we describe above are set by third-party services we use. Those services have their own privacy policies:

We do not control the cookies those services place and recommend reviewing their policies if you have questions about them.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two broad categories by duration:
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. They are removed automatically when you close the browser tab or window.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. The durations for our cookies are noted in Section 2 above.

Use the controls below to choose which optional categories you are comfortable with. Essential cookies cannot be turned off as they are needed for the site to operate.

6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Click a browser below for instructions.
- Open Chrome and select the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Choose Settings, then Privacy and security.
- Select Cookies and other site data.
- Choose your preferred setting or add site exceptions as needed.
- To delete existing cookies, scroll down and select See all site data and permissions.
- Open Firefox and select the menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner.
- Choose Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Under Cookies and Site Data, adjust your settings or click Manage Data.
- To block all third-party cookies, select Strict under Enhanced Tracking Protection.
- Open Safari and select Safari in the menu bar, then Preferences (or Settings on macOS Ventura and later).
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- Check Prevent cross-site tracking to block third-party cookies.
- To remove stored cookies, click Manage Website Data.
- On iPhone or iPad: go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
- Open Edge and select the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner.
- Choose Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
- Select Cookies and data stored to manage your preferences.
- Toggle Block third-party cookies as preferred.
- To clear stored cookies, select See all cookies and site data.
On mobile browsers, cookie settings are typically found within the app's main settings menu, often under a Privacy or Security section.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time using the toggles in Section 5. Doing so will not affect the lawfulness of any use that occurred before you withdrew consent.
Disabling analytics or preference cookies may mean that certain features of the website work less well or that your settings are not retained between visits. Disabling marketing cookies will not reduce the total number of advertisements you see online, but they will be less tailored to your browsing activity.
